Our client is a sweet 10-year-old non-verbal active boy with Autism and we are seeking energetic individuals, who are passionate about delivering the best person-centred care possible, to join his specialised care team.

A bundle of love, he lights up the room with his presence and enjoys the little things in life.

Although he is non-verbal, he doesn’t hesitate to express what he wants, especially when it comes to his choice of food – Teriyaki Chicken Rice!

With all the energy in the world, he enjoys being out and about in his spiffy little buggy and enjoys playing ball and long walks at the park. Being able to keep up with him during play-time is absolutely crucial for this role!

Job Description

You will support our client, together with his family as part of his care team, providing support and assisting with his day-to-day activities.

As a specialist provider of Homecare and Healthcare services, we pride ourselves on providing the best care, by hiring the best people. Exciting opportunities have arisen within our team for experienced support workers, supporting our client in his home in Te Atatu Peninsula .
Due to our client’s complex needs, you will need to have:

  • Experience assisting children with Cerebral Palsy or TBI
  • Experience working with non-verbal children with Autism is a MUST!
  • Good communication skills
  • Energetic, proactive and physically fit
  • Full Drivers Licence and your own vehicle
  • Flexible with working schedule and able to work weekends and awake-night shifts
