We are looking for experienced Support Workers in Complex Care, who will ease into this role with confidence and a high skill of resilience to provide the best support for our client’s ADLS, this means you will need to be very patient and understanding of our clients so that you can offer our them the best care and aid. This role will require you to provide excellent support to our clients with their personal day-to-day duties, carefully managing bowel cares, preparing meals, supporting clients in the comfort of their own homes and occasionally reading books to enhance their mental stability.

Job Description

As an integral part of our team, you will be making a great impact to our clients’ everyday lives by encouraging independence. Due to the nature of our client’s complex needs, you must have:
• Previous experience with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and/or Spinal Cord Injury clients
• Full Clean NZ Drivers Licence with reliable transport
• Hoist trained and manual handling experience
• Available to work short hours and/or sleepover shifts
• Resilient and patient attitude towards working with challenging clients
• Positive and friendly
